The Warren Water District provides drinking water service to homes and businesses throughout the District while operating independently under the requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
The District’s mission is simple: provide safe, reliable water service while remaining transparent, responsive, and accountable to the community it serves.
The Warren Water District was established through an act of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the purpose of providing public drinking water service within the District boundaries.
Today, the District continues operating as an independent municipal entity supported entirely through customer water payments rather than town tax revenue.
